What can a good pair of earrings do?
When I get up in the morning, I generally don’t think about what I’m going to wear. Most days I am the blue Jean Queen and that’s just the way I like it! When I’m retired, I don’t leave home unless I want to. That sort of says what my attire will be. But when I have to get dressed my mood serves as a Geiger Counter for my earring selection. Anything you wear can be enhanced by your earring selection! We have soooo many options and choices – so I say choose what makes you feel good, nobody else! Just you.
Your earrings can match your outfit, contrast it, compliment it, dress it up or dress it down. It really doesn’t matter as long as you like it.
I think earrings are an introduction of who you are. Your earrings can be Classy, Sassy, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, ethnic or just a basic hoop. And for the most part, most women have a favorite item that they would like to incorporate in their jewelry like Pearls or Diamonds or a birthstone – Rubies, Garnets, Emeralds and Peridots to name a few… So do what speaks to you when you get that new pair. It should be calling your name and saying “take me, we belong together” and trust me they will if you listen!
As the day goes on, I have the option to change any part of my look that I want. Maybe my clothes and not my earrings or vice versa or maybe just my earrings!
Either way, our options/choices are vast. In those choices, we can be subtle/quiet or loud/passionate or somewhere in the middle!
